CATIE provides information to help people living with HIV/AIDS and their caregivers make informed health care decisions. We promote the health of people living with HIV and AIDS by supporting their involvement in making the decisions which affect their lives and well being. We also assist physicians and other health care professionals access the latest information on AIDS treatment advances. We also advocate for improved research, better treatments and easier access to treatments; our ultimate goal is to see AIDS as a curable condition. CATIE offers services across Canada through the HIV/AIDS Treatment Information Network, a project that includes a free 1-800 number phone service and Internet service.
